Friday 5th October, seems like an age ago now and what a difference in the weather, although we were blessed with one of the scarce warm sunny days at that time. But a great day to celebrate the name change to the building, from Rowner Family Centre to Alver Valley Family Centre, changed to keep up with the ever changing local community and surroundings.
The centre was renamed by Caroline Dineage MP and the cake cutting by Mayor Diane Furlong.

The warm sunny weather meant the mobile farm, Mucky Buckets, was well attended in the garden. Face painting was popular as were the mascots from the Gosportarians
